Why I started Purely Treats

People often ask me, "What made you start Purely Treats?"

The truth is... it wasn't one big moment.

It was lots of little moments over many years.

I've always loved health, fitness and nutrition. Long before Purely Treats, I was passionate about supplements, nutrition and finding natural ways to improve my skin, health and overall wellbeing.

Superfoods, antioxidants and functional ingredients fascinated me. I was always searching for products that could naturally support longevity and help me feel my best. I've always believed in nourishing my body with real, minimally processed foods that offer genuine nutritional benefits, rather than relying on highly processed alternatives.

I genuinely find it fascinating.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with so many incredible women. First as a makeup artist, helping them feel beautiful on the outside, and later as a Personal Trainer, helping people become stronger, healthier and more confident.

One thing I noticed again and again was that so many of us wanted the same thing. We wanted to look after ourselves, but we also wanted to enjoy life. We didn't want to choose between eating something nourishing or eating something delicious.

And honestly... I felt exactly the same.

Whenever I picked up a snack, I'd instinctively turn it over and read the ingredients. More often than not, I'd put it straight back on the shelf. There was always something missing—or something added that I didn't want.

I was looking for products made with real, thoughtfully selected ingredients. High in protein. No refined sugar. Functional. And most importantly... something I genuinely looked forward to eating.

I never quite found it.

So one day, I stopped looking and decided to create it myself.

That sounds very straightforward when I write it down, but in reality, it has been one of the biggest challenges I've ever taken on. There have been countless recipe trials, late nights, moments of self-doubt and plenty of lessons along the way. But every challenge has made me even more determined to create something I'm truly proud of.

Purely Treats has become so much more than a business.

It's become part of my own rebuilding journey.

A reminder that it's never too late to start again, learn something new, or take a chance on a dream you've been carrying around for years.
